Tottenham ready to spend big for wonderkid Erik Lamela
TOTTENHAM look ready to continue spending big
The north London club have already splashed out on several key signings this season and are now ready to launch an audacious deal to bring Roma's Erik Lamela to White Hart Lane.
Andre Villas-Boas has already seen his squad strengthened by the signings of Nacer Chadli from FC Twente and Brazil international Paulinho from Corinthians.
Lamela impressed for the Serie A side last term, scoring 15 times in 30 starts.
The Argentine international defintely caught the eye of Spurs' new sporting director Franco Baldini, who used to work at the Italian giants.
Gazzetta Dello Sport claims the club are ready to offer around £30m for the 21-year-old, but face a long negotiation period as the Giallorossi aren't looking to sell one of their most sought-after youngsters.
Roma stand to make almost double from the potential deal, having signed Lamela from River Plate in 2011 for £10m, plus add-ons.
Jest tu jakiś ekspert od ligi włoskiej? Warto wyłożyć aż taką kasę na Lamelę?
